Katheryn (Kat) McCaulla is a newcomer to the northwoods by way of the great state of Missouri. Soon to be a senior at Missouri State University – Springfield, Ms. McCaulla has previously studied at Southeast Missouri State, and is a graduate of Rolla High School, where she maintained an active role not only in theatrical productions, but also in tennis, soccer, key club and was VP of the senior class, to name a few. As a BFA student is Acting and Directing, Kat has been seen onstage in such roles as Violet Bick in It’s a Wonderful Life and Mercy Lewis in The Crucible. Her credits include appearances with The Springfield Little Theater and Ozark’s Actors Theater companies, as well as MSU and SEMO. She is also pursuing a certificate in screenwriting from MSU and plays the lead in a web series. A woman of many talents, equally at home offstage, she has served as a teaching artist and assistant director with Ozark’s Actors Theater for three seasons. Kat is ecstatic to join Tommy O’s Playhouse this season and is looking forward to all of the beautiful people and places, practicing her craft, and of course, the cheese. She would like to thank her mom and dad, friends and family, and Tommy for allowing her this unique opportunity.
